DAC Receives Food Delivery to Assist People with Disabilities Recover from Hurricane Irma Losses

Disability Achievement Center has been responding to the needs of people with disabilities in Pinellas and Pasco Counties who suffered losses due to Hurricane Irma.  Generous donations from the community have enabled Disability Achievement Center to assist over 100 people since the storm passed two weeks ago, and the calls keep coming.  Extended power outages caused most people to lose everything under refrigeration.  Replacing items is no easy task when living on a fixed income.  This delivery will enable us to serve more people in need.
