Disability Achievement Center (DAC) Accessibility Statement

This accessibility statement applies to the Disability Achievement Center website: https://www.mydacil.org

Disability Achievement Center (DAC) is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all individuals, including people with disabilities. As a Center for Independent Living, accessibility is fundamental to our mission, and we strive to provide a digital experience that supports independence, equal access, and full participation.

We are actively working to improve the usability and accessibility of our website so that all users can access information, services, and resources without barriers.

Measures to Support Accessibility

DAC takes the following steps to support accessibility:

  • Incorporating accessibility into our organizational mission and service delivery

  • Integrating accessibility considerations into internal policies and procedures

  • Evaluating accessibility when selecting and using digital tools and services

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) provide standards for improving web accessibility. These guidelines define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Disability Achievement Center aims to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.

Ongoing Efforts

We view accessibility as an ongoing process. While we strive to ensure that all content on our website is accessible, some areas may not yet fully meet current accessibility standards. We are continually reviewing and improving our site to enhance accessibility and usability for all users.
