Following her decade long tenure at The Arc of Virginia, Jamie served as a consultant to Virginia-based non-profit organizations, taught graduate classes at the nationally ranked Virginia Commonwealth University School of Social Work, and advanced inclusive emergency management at local and state levels, eliminating barriers and integrating accessibility into emergency planning, response and recovery.

Jamie has a Master of Social Work from George Mason University with a concentration in Organizational Leadership and Social Change. She is a person with a disability and a caregiver for a family member with disabilities.
