
Karen Stack
Program Services Administrative Assistant

Her career began in southern Maine, where she gained foundational experience in adult day programs. During her tenure there, Karen rose through the ranks from Direct Care Staff (DSP) to Supervisor of two Day Program Centers.
Throughout her time in Maine, Karen was passionate about fostering independence and community integration. She successfully implemented several programs focused on Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills and organized volunteer activities at local food banks. Her commitment to the community also extended to the Maine Special Olympics, where she served as a coach and traveled with athletes to various events.
In 2011, Karen relocated to the Tampa Bay area and stepped into the role of Residential Director for The ARC-Tampa Bay. In this capacity, she oversaw the daily operations and the supervision of seven behavioral group homes, ensuring high standards of care and strict adherence to APD state regulations and compliance.
Karen is excited to join Disability Achievement Center’s team and looks forward to continuing her lifelong mission of supporting and advocating for individuals with disabilities.
